Your projects belong to this browser through a private cookie, with no account needed. Clearing site data forgets your projects, so download anything you want to keep.
YouTube sign-in for link imports
Some videos are only served to a signed-in viewer, so links to them fail here while the same link plays fine in your browser. Exporting your YouTube cookies once fixes that. They are kept for your projects only, are never displayed back, and you can remove them at any time.
No sign-in saved. Link imports use the plain server address, which YouTube refuses for many videos.
- On a computer, install a "Get cookies.txt LOCALLY" extension (Chrome or Firefox).
- Open youtube.com and make sure you are signed in.
- Click the extension and export, which downloads
cookies.txt. - Choose that file below, or paste its contents.
Defaults
New projects start at 9:16, ten clips targeted, 15–60 second lengths, Auto layout, hook titles on, and the Classic caption style. Every one of these is changeable per project on the create screen.
Accounts
Sign-in, saved defaults and cross-device projects are planned; the storage model is already built around ownership, so existing projects will carry over when accounts arrive.
